The Second ANHS Himalayan Studies Conference
September 21-23, 2012

Conference participants are required to pre-register by individually completing the online
Participant Information form below. Payment of pre-registration fees is required at the time of abstract submission; those abstracts without the registration fee payment will not be reviewed for the conference. Each panelist or single paper presenter should complete the online Participant Information form individually and pay registration fees by May 18, 2012.
Please note that this pre-registration process has two steps:

$80 Member of ANHS
$95 Non-Member of ANHS
$65 Student (both Member and Non-Member of ANHS
$65 Residents of South Asia and Himalayan Region
$65 Western Michigan University graduate student (to be privately reimbursed by WMU and HIGE)
By pre-registering you are also invited to attend the conference dinner on Friday, September 21
at no additional cost.
Please remit your payment via PayPal to membership@anhs-himalaya.org (see below), or via U.S. dollar check or International Money Order payable to the Association for Nepal and Himalaya Studies (ANHS) to ANHS, Macalester College, Dept. of Anthropology, 1600 Grand Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55105-1801.
Pre-registration is available online until August 1, 2012.
On-Site Registration Fees
$95 Member of ANHS
$110 Non-Member of ANHS
$80 Student (both Member and Non-Member of ANHS
$80 Residents of South Asia and Himalayan Region
$65 Western Michigan University graduate student (to be privately reimbursed by WMU and HIGE)
The conference dinner, Friday, September 21, is not available at the time of on-site registration.

Refund Policy
In the event that a presenter’s proposal is not accepted, ANHS will contact the presenter and
issue a full refund of pre-registration fees. Should a presenter or non-presenter who has pre-
registered cancel before September 1, 2012 via email to membership@anhs-himalaya.org,
ANHS will issue a full refund of pre-registration fees. No refunds, either partial or in full, will
be issued after September 1.
